We are currently looking for an IT System Administrator to join our IT team in Athens and support our global production environment.

About the Role

This is a hands-on senior role within a global production environment, combining infrastructure management, networking, and cloud technologies.

You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing both on-premises and cloud-based systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and support data communication systems and IT infrastructure (on-premises & cloud)
• Monitor and manage network equipment to ensure smooth and continuous operations
• Execute technical projects and operational tasks, meeting defined deadlines
• Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical systems
• Work closely with global teams in a production-driven environment
• 7+ years of hands-on experience as an IT System Administrator
• Proven experience in production environments within global companies – must
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
• High level of ownership, organization, and service orientation
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset

Technical Expertise

• Strong experience with cloud environments (Azure / AWS)
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls and Cisco network management
• Solid experience with Active Directory
• Experience with virtualization infrastructure
• Experience with storage systems (e.g., NetApp)
• Scripting experience in PowerShell
• Experience with monitoring tools, event log management, and certificate management

Additional Information

• Working language: English
• Work model: Office-based with 1 day hybrid
• Availability for on-call support (24/7 rotation) is required
