Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 10 August 2026
Jobtimist aims for its digital services to be understandable, operable and accessible to as many people as possible, including persons with disabilities.
1. Compliance status
Partial compliance. This website has not undergone an independent, documented accessibility audit. We do not claim full compliance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, because such a claim would be inaccurate without documentation. Pages are designed with compliance in mind and are tested internally, but there may be areas that do not meet the criteria.
2. What has been implemented
The following are applied systematically and checked on every new page:
- Semantic HTML structure with a correct heading hierarchy, so that screen readers can navigate the content;
- Keyboard navigation across all interactive functionality, with a visible focus indicator;
- Operation without JavaScript for every critical action — submitting an application, saving a job, sending a message, subscribing to alerts;
- Labels and error messages on all forms, with the label programmatically associated with the field;
- Alternative text for images that convey information;
- Responsive behaviour on mobile devices with zoom support and no loss of content;
- Full bilingual support in Greek and English across all interface content.
3. Known limitations
We are able to report the following as areas that have not yet been systematically tested:
- Colour contrast has not been measured with a tool across every combination;
- behaviour with screen readers has not been tested with real users of assistive technology;
- documents uploaded by users, such as CVs in PDF format, are not checked for accessibility, as they are created by third parties.
Reporting these limitations is deliberate. We would rather you know what has not been tested than assume that everything has.
4. Objective
Our objective is progressive alignment of the website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.2, Level AA, in particular regarding:
- keyboard navigation;
- clear focus and correct navigation order;
- sufficient colour contrast;
- alternative text for images;
- understandable labels and error messages in forms;
- zoom capability and adaptation on mobile devices;
- accessible documents and pay information.
5. Reporting a barrier
If you encounter a barrier, please contact support@jobtimist.gr, stating:
- the page or functionality;
- your device and browser;
- the assistive technology you use, if any;
- a brief description of the problem.
Reasonable efforts will be made to provide an accessible alternative and to correct the problem. User reports are, in practice, the most effective way of identifying real barriers.
