Payments, Cancellations and Refunds
Last updated: 10 August 2026
1. Orders and payments
The available services, price, duration, number of postings, any promoted visibility and applicable limitations are displayed before the order is placed. The customer is able to review and correct the details before pressing the button that clearly indicates an obligation to pay.
Once completed, a confirmation is sent on a durable medium, normally by e-mail, containing the essential order details and a link to the applicable Terms of Use.
Payments are processed through a licensed partner payment provider. Jobtimist does not store full card details. The customer must provide accurate invoicing information.
2. Service activation
The service is activated after successful payment and, where required, after review of the listing or the account. The publication duration or validity of credits is stated in the package at the time of purchase.
There is no automatic renewal, unless expressly described as a subscription and the customer specifically accepts the recurring charge, its frequency, the price and the cancellation method.
3. Consumer right of withdrawal
This section applies to natural persons purchasing for a purpose outside a professional activity. For purchases made in the course of a business, see the next section.
A natural person purchasing a service for a purpose outside their trade, business or profession has, as a rule, the right to withdraw without giving reasons within fourteen (14) calendar days of concluding the distance contract.
To exercise this right, they send a clear statement to support@jobtimist.gr, stating their full name, account e-mail, order number and purchase date. They may use the model form at the end of this Policy, although this is not mandatory.
If the consumer expressly requests that provision begin before the fourteen-day period expires and subsequently withdraws, they owe the proportionate amount for the part of the service provided up to the withdrawal statement. If the service has been fully provided, the right ceases only if the consumer had previously expressly requested immediate commencement and had acknowledged that they would lose the right after full performance.
A consumer's statutory right of withdrawal is not limited by the contractual refund rules that apply to businesses.
4. Customers acting as businesses
For a purchase made in the course of a professional or business activity, the consumer right of withdrawal without reasons does not apply.
However, as binding commercial policy, Jobtimist grants a full refund where the request is submitted within 14 calendar days of purchase and before any credit activation, publication, promoted visibility or substantive use of the package.
Both conditions must be met. If even one credit has been activated or one listing published, sections 5 and 6 apply.
5. Cases eligible for a refund
A full or proportionate refund may be approved where:
- a duplicate or incorrect charge has been demonstrably made;
- payment was completed but the service was not activated due to a technical fault of Jobtimist and was not remedied within a reasonable time;
- the order was cancelled before any activation or use, in accordance with the previous section;
- a listing was rejected before publication and the customer does not wish or is unable to correct it, unless fraud, abuse or repeated intentional breach is established;
- a material technical outage attributable to Jobtimist deprived the customer of a significant part of the purchased duration and was not adequately compensated by extension or credit;
- a refund is required by mandatory law.
6. Cases not eligible for a refund
Unless otherwise required by law, amounts are not refunded:
- because a listing did not receive a particular number of views or applications, or did not result in a hire;
- for a credit or package already used, or for completed promoted visibility;
- where content was removed after publication due to breach of the Terms, illegality, fraud or misrepresentation by the customer;
- for incorrect details entered by the customer that could have been corrected;
- for temporary maintenance work or incidents beyond reasonable control, provided they do not materially deprive the customer of the service.
7. How to submit a request
Requests are submitted to support@jobtimist.gr and include:
- the order or invoice number;
- the account e-mail;
- the amount and date of the charge;
- a brief description of the reason;
- proof of the charge, if requested, with full card details masked.
| Stage | Timeframe |
|---|---|
| Acknowledgement of receipt | As a rule within 2 working days |
| Decision on the request | Target within 5 working days |
| Statutory refund following consumer withdrawal | Without undue delay and at the latest within 14 calendar days of notification |
| Other approved refund | Initiated as a rule within 5 working days of approval |
| Credit appearing in your account | A further 5 to 10 working days from your bank or payment provider |
The credit appears via the same payment method, unless otherwise agreed.
8. Chargebacks
Before requesting a chargeback, the customer is asked to contact support@jobtimist.gr. In most cases the matter is resolved faster through direct contact.
Jobtimist reserves the right to submit to the payment provider the necessary evidence of the order, acceptance of the Terms and provision of the service, respecting the principle of data minimisation.
9. Model withdrawal form
Use of this model is not mandatory. Any clear statement is sufficient.
