Reporting Illegal Content
Last updated: 10 August 2026
This page explains how to report content you believe to be illegal, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on Digital Services (DSA).
Immediate danger. If there is an immediate risk to a person's life or physical safety, human trafficking, or serious fraud in progress, notify the competent authorities first and then contact us. Mark your message subject URGENT.
1. Point of contact
Reports concerning a specific listing, profile or other content are sent to legal@jobtimist.gr. This point of contact is also used for all communications relating to the Digital Services Act.
2. What a report must include
In order to review a report, we need four elements:
- a clear explanation of why you consider the content illegal;
- the exact link or other information enabling the content to be located;
- your name and e-mail, unless the law permits an exemption;
- a statement that the information is provided in good faith and is accurate.
The second element matters most in practice. Without the exact link we cannot identify the content with certainty, and the review is delayed.
3. Report template
You may copy the template below into your message. Its use is not mandatory, but it speeds up the review.

4. How reports are reviewed
Jobtimist reviews reports diligently, objectively and without arbitrary delay. We may request additional information, temporarily restrict the visibility of the content, or retain it where the report is not sufficiently substantiated.
The reporting party is informed of the essential decision where required. Their identity is not disclosed to the user who posted the content, unless this is necessary and lawful for the examination of a specific breach.
5. Statement of reasons for restrictions
Where content is removed or restricted, a service or account is suspended, or the ability to pay is restricted due to illegality or breach of the Terms, the affected user receives a clear statement of reasons which includes, as applicable:
- the measure and its scope;
- the essential facts;
- the legal or contractual basis;
- information on any use of automated means;
- how to challenge it.
6. How to challenge a decision
You may request a review at legal@jobtimist.gr within six (6) months of notification, stating the case number and your reasons for disagreement.
The review is carried out by a person able to reassess the facts and is not based solely on automated processing.
7. Abusive reports
Repeated manifestly unfounded reports, or repeated posting of manifestly illegal content, may — following a warning and a proportionate assessment — lead to a temporary restriction of the relevant functionality.
